Revised Content:

The Staub cocotte is unparalleled in its ability to slow-cook meats and vegetables to tender perfection, and to simmer hearty stews and soups. The exceptional heat-retaining properties of cast iron ensure the pot heats evenly throughout. The innovative lid features tiny spikes on the interior that continuously release condensed liquid back onto the food, resulting in moist and flavorful dishes.

Staub's exquisite enamel finish allows each piece to transition seamlessly from the kitchen to the table. From comforting classics to sumptuous suppers, every dish is elevated when served in Staub cookware.

Staub enameled cast iron cookware is the preferred choice of the world's finest chefs. With exceptional durability, these versatile pieces are perfect for daily use in both gourmet home kitchens and prestigious restaurants worldwide. Built to last a lifetime, these heirloom-quality items can be passed down through generations.

Crafted in France, Staub cookware features a heavy-weight, tight-fitting lid that retains moisture. The lid's interior spikes create a "rain-forest effect," evenly returning juices back onto the food. The cookware is oven-safe up to 900°F/482°C (without the lid) and the lids are oven-safe up to 500°F/260°C. The nickel steel knobs are heat-resistant.

The smooth enamel bottom works on all stovetops, including gas, electric, glass, ceramic, induction, and halogen. The unique matte interior texture results in exceptional browning, and the cookware is dishwasher-safe (hand-washing recommended).

Staub's handcrafted pieces are fired upside-down in a kiln, with each coat of enamel applied as the pieces are rotated. This meticulous process may result in minor color variations where the rim rested on the rack, but it ensures thorough enameling.

The tight-fitting, flat lid features self-basting spikes that ensure continuous, even distribution of juices throughout the cooking process, resulting in moist and flavorful dishes. The interior black matte enamel finish produces a natural, non-stick surface that is highly resistant to scratches and chips. It will not discolor or rust and never requires seasoning.

Staub cookware is available with either brass or nickel-plated knobs, both of which are heat-resistant up to 500°F. The smooth bottom is suitable for use on any cooking surface, including induction. Developed in conjunction with the renowned French chef Paul Bocuse, Staub cookware is made in France and built to last a lifetime.
